THe Soldier/Respect by Daniel Wilson

This is the soldier who fought in the heart of war, who inspires people because he is one of the few, the proud – a marine. And when fear arrives he overcomes it because this is the soldier who fought in the heart of war for his country.

Respect by Daniel WilsonIf respect could be a color it would be pure white like a polar bear's soft coat blowing in the wind.If respect could be a taste it would taste just like hot chocolate with whipped cream on top in a freezing snow storm at night.

If respect could be a smell it would be the smell of hot concession food at a sporting event in the late afternoon just as the sun is setting.

If respect could be a sound it would be soft peaceful quiet as if you were the last person on earth. If respect could be a feeling it would be the feeling of accomplishment and pride after a long hard day's work.

If respect could be an animal it would be a panda bear soft, furry, comfortable and fun; becoming scarce throughout the world, but trying to be saved.

Daniel Wilson is in the 6th grade and lives in Southlake, Texas. He is thankful to all the brave and courageous men and women who serve and have served in the Armed Forces to protect liberty and freedom.

"If you spend five minutes complaining, you have just wasted five minutes. If you continue complaining, it won't be long before they haul you out to a financial desert and there let you choke on the dust of your own regret." Jim Rohn

By Chris Widener

The topic of leadership has been and continues to be one of the most vital topics in human history. From ancient civilizations to modern day multi-national corporations, men and women of passion, fervor and zeal have sought to discover the secrets of moving others beyond the gray of their mundane reality to the rich array of colors that embody the palate of the extraordinary life.

Every organization or collection of people, from large to small, requires ardent and skilled leaders. It has been said that everything rises and falls on leadership, and it is true. Every group - families, cities, churches, associations and yes, even nations - fulfills its purposes and potential based on the leadership it is shown.

As leaders we are given the charge, responsibility, and the privilege to see grand visions, to dream lofty dreams, to forge new ground, and to challenge and encourage those who would follow our leadership to ascend the heights with us. We beckon them to come. We implore them. All for their own good. This is to lead them toward their possibilities.

Be assured that there will be a leader of every group. There will be those who influence others, even if you don..t. There may even be unscrupulous people who use their abilities to lead others astray. The quote "All it takes for evil to prevail is for the good man to do nothing," remains true today, as it has through the annals of time. This is the compelling motive for you to rise up and lead the way for others. Our families depend on it.Our community groups depend on it.Our nations depend on it.

People will follow you for two reasons: They follow you because of your character, for who you are. They also follow you for your skills, for what you can do. Make it your every effort to impart skillful and honorable leadership for them that would look to you for your wisdom, your guidance and your belief in the promise of the human spirit. Someone will lead. Will it be you? If not you, then who will lead? If you will not lead now, then when?

Today, more than ever, you are needed. Your strong character is needed. Your finely honed skills are needed. I know you will rise to the challenge.Lead boldly. Lead with faith. Lead others to the pinnacle of the human existence. This is the highest calling and the reward is of the utmost kind. You are Made for Success!...Chris Widener

Who is The Auto Buddy Anyway?

About me:

I'm 22 years old and I have a great love and passion for people, family, health, music, cars, vehicles, and the marvels of nature. As a family we have traveled to some of the most awesome destinations that the Southwest has to offer. Some of these include the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion Canyon in scenic Utah, and a host of other State and National Parks. The highlight of course for me at 16 was when we would stop and hang out at each and every visitor center along the way. When time allows, I would like to one day share more about these excursions with all of you.I am also a strong proponent of the 'Law of Attraction' and would like to attract positive people with whome I would like to share my many gifts and talents. Life has also taught me that it pays to be generous, especially with our time and talent. The renowned ecconomist 'Zig Zigler' has stated: "If you give people what they want, they will help you to get what 'you' want."
Since my early teens, I often got excited about cars, having spent a fair amount of time under the hood. Throughout my younger years, while living in Marblehead, MA and now in Tucson, I have bought and sold just about everything you can imagine from lawn mowers to computers and electronics and more recently: vehicles on ebay and Craigs list. I derive a lot of my energy and enthusiasm from my parents and family who are the greatest and are always encouraging me to get out there and do what I do best.

Auto Buddy:

I chose the title "Auto Buddy" because that is what I want to be for you and your friends. Be sure to check out my blog for great deals especialy if you live in a 50 mile radius of Tucson. If you or any one you know is in need of a vehicle,

New or Used.

Be sure to leave me a message describing what you are looking for. ..................................For more info, log onto: TheAutoBuddy.com

River Walk: 'A Musical Tribute'

Have You Heard!
This Incredible Smooth Jazz Recording
Featuring Michael Barrett on Keys,
Bob Kirby on Sax & Arie Mendes on Jazz Guitar

Available Here!

About 3Mi Music

About Michael Barrett: Since the age of six Michael D Barrett has been a student of music. He began with the accordian, moved onto piano and later got into various keyboards. As a sight impaired person since birth, he had to read and memorize all his music. That combined with having an excellent ear, enabled him to take full advantage of studying with the fabulous instructor and jazz musician: Charlie Banacas, who also for a certain period in his teaching career, taught at the Berkley College of Music in Boston. In addition to studying Jazz, he also dabbled in classical organ and became some-what proficient in service playing and directed a few choir's and numerous ensembles. He later got into recording and producing and has had the privilege of working with musician friends like: sax player Bob Kirby, Eddie Saindon-professor of vibes-at the Berkley College of Music in Boston, guitar player Ari Mendes and producer: Hary King, who taught and schooled Michael in the art of recording and producing. As a student of life, Michael feels that he has so much more to learn, but has that much more to be grateful for. He attributes his musical talent and willingness to persevere in all things to his mother, Evelyn Barrett Shields, who has always been an inspiration to him and his five brothers and who is, at one and the same time, a wonderful vocalist who taught Michael his very first song on the piano at the age of six: "When The Saints Come Marching In." More recently, he assisted in producing a project with three of his brothers and their adopted brother-Garrett, who make up the 'Grinnin Barrett Band. Having produced several inspirational CD's, he recently released his latest offering: "River Walk" A Tribute to the Boston Red Sox, which is a compilation of various tunes that would best be described as Light Jazz. The project incorporates some familiar tunes that many a worshipping Christian would identify with based on their experience of singing them for centuries around the world in some of the most esteemed Cathedrals and Churches known throughout Christendom. In addition to these various interpretations of popular hymn tunes, River Walk also offers an array of original compositions arranged and performed by Michael which is further enhanced by Ari Mendes on guitar and Bob Kirby on sax. Like many musical genres of the day, this project dynamically integrates the best of a retro and contemporary feel. Musical downloads for River Walk are available at: 3MiMusic.net

About River Walk

While living in a section of Boston, known as the Fenway, just two blocks from the Champs' Stadium, I was in the habit of taking a walk most every day along the Charles River. One day as I was walking, this melody kept playing over and over in my head. So I went home and began to develop it a bit more in my little home based recording studio: basicly, a corner of my bedroom. A short time later, I shared the idea with my friends Bob Kirby who eventually layed down the Soprano Sax track and guitar player Ari, from Amen Studio, who assisted in the final production of the tune entitled: ' River Walk. Other tracks on the project were created during this same period. One worth noting was created about 3 in the morning, with headphones of course. I rose and began arranging a song based on an old English melody known to most as: 'Scarborough Fair.' Seeing that my first experience in recording music occurred in a little studio on Newbury Street, where many years before, prompted me to call the arrangement: "Ten-Eleven" This was the address of First Take, owned and operated by Bob Kirby, where many graduates from the Berkley College of Music, living in the Boston area, got their start in the mid to late eighties. One name that stands out among the many great musicians who frequented First Take is Dan Cantor of Notable Productions in Watertown MA. The studio was located right next to the Ritz. Not too shabby AYE? The project was completed at 'Amen Studio' in Port Saint Lucie, FL and is now available to download on this page, and is also available at CD Baby http://www.3mimusic.net/), I Tunes and 1host of other sites. Amen Studio is owned and operated by Ari Mendes who is playing guitar and bass. He also assisted me in the final production, mix and mastering Other offerings from 3Mi Music include: "Its About TIme" recorded and produced by the Grinnin Barrett Band.Music downloads from Its About Time are availale at: http://www.grinninbarrettband.com/
